वर्ष 2017 साठी भारत @ डेसी सहयोगाच्या संरचनेत सक्षम तीन आरएसीआयआरआय शिष्यवृत्त्यांसाठी अर्ज आमंत्रित केले आहेत. यंग भारतीय वैज्ञानिक या शिष्यवृत्तीसाठी अर्ज करण्यास पात्र आहेत. साध्या प्रायोगिक पद्धती आणि तंत्रांवर लक्ष केंद्रित करण्याऐवजी, प्रोग्राम संरचना, व्याख्याने आणि विषय मूलभूत समज सुधारण्यासाठी डिझाइन केले आहेत. जवाहरलाल नेहरू सेंटर फॉर अॅडव्हान्स सायंटिफिक रिसर्च (जेएनसीएएसआर) बंगलोरच्या उत्तरेस असलेल्या जाकुर येथे स्थित एक बहुआयामी संशोधन संस्था आहे. हे ग्लोबच्या जवळपास सुप्रसिद्ध आहे.

(for three RACIRI 2017 scholarships enabled within the framework of the India@DESY Collaboration)

RACIRI Summer Schools

The RACIRI Summer Schools are jointly organized by DESY in Germany, the NRC “Kurchatov Institute” in the Russian Federation and the Swedish Research Council in Sweden. The summer schools offer a unique training program and stimulating learning environment for young researchers in materials science in close connection to research at large-scale x-ray and neutron sources. The school will mainly address PhD students, master (diploma) students in their final research year, and young postdoctoral researchers mainly from institutions of the three partner countries.

It is one of the main goals of RACIRI Summer Schools to strengthen the scientific knowledge base of the next generation of researchers in advanced materials design and to contribute to the necessary interdisciplinary literacy in relevant scientific fields and disciplines. The program structure, lectures and topics are designed to improve the fundamental understanding rather than focusing on plain experimental methods and techniques.

Within the framework of the India@DESY collaboration we offer three RACIRI 2017 scholarships for outstanding young Indian scientists.

Three RACIRI 2017 Scholarships: Application and Participation

The three RACIRI 2017 scholarships for young Indian researchers consist of full accommodation, lodging and meals during the RACIRI Summer School 2017. We expect the successful candidates to be excellently qualified senior master students in the final phase of their study programme (master/diploma), or PhD students with proven academic background and necessary qualifications, or young scientists (Postdocs). Students and young scientists from India wishing to participate must first apply at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) and will then be nominated by a committee (based on their academic accomplishment, research and education experience, and with careful consideration of gender balance).

Applicants are requested to electronically submit:

o   a CV

o   a one-page motivation letter explaining why he/she would like to participate and how this might benefit his/her ongoing or planned research

o   two reference letters.
