The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA–TIFR is located inside the Pune University Campus. Facilities operated by NCRA-TIFR include, the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) in Ooty, Tamilnadu and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world’s largest radio telescope at metre wavelengths. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
1. Engineer Trainee (Electronics) [7 Posts; UR; HQ: Khodad]
[Stipend: 25000 p.m.]
Minimum Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics (with Computer hardware)/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation from a recognised university.
Nature of Training: Controller and drive electronics/ Analog/Digital Electronics/ Designing, development and installation of control and monitoring system and sentinel system.
Desirable Experience: 1 year in a large and reputed organization.
Age: Below 28 years.
2. Engineer Trainee (Computer) [1 Post; UR; HQ:Pune]
[Stipend: 25000 p.m.]
Minimum Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication/ Computer Technology from a recognised university.
Nature of Training: Helping in installation, configuration and maintenance of computer and network systems.
Desirable Experience: 1 year in computer and network hardware in a large and reputed organization.
Age: Below 28 years.
3. Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) [2 Posts; UR; HQ:Khodad]
[Stipend: 25000 p.m.]
Minimum Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
Nature of Training: Study the critical alignment of structure and rotating machine and execution of plan work.
Desirable Experience: 1 year in a large and reputed organization.
Age: Below 28 years.
4. Engineer Trainee (Electrical) [1 Post; UR; HQ:Khodad]

Minimum Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.

Minimum Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Civil from a recognised university.
Nature of Training: Estimation, measurement, site supervision, design, draft BOQ preparation, etc.
